Call for proposals - EACEA/30/12: Jean Monnet programme, key activity 3 - Support to European associations active at European level in the field of European integration and education and training: Annual operating grants 2013

This call seeks to select organisations for the conclusion of annual operating grant agreements covering the budget year 2013. It does not concern organisations having concluded a Framework Partnership Agreement with the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency for the period 2011-2013.

The call will support European associations in the fields of education and training active in European integration subjects, and/or pursuing the objectives of the European education and training policy.

In the implementation of key activity 3 of the Jean Monnet programme, the specific objectives of this call are:
- to support high-quality European associations contributing to increasing knowledge and awareness on the European integration process through education and training,
- to support high-quality European associations contributing to the implementation of at least one of the strategic objectives of the strategic framework for European cooperation in education and training (ET 2020).

Eligible applicants are European associations (non-profit organisations) in the field of education and training active in European integration subjects, and/or pursuing the objectives of the European education and training policy.

They must be located and have legal personality in one or several of the following countries participating in the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP): the 27 EU Member States, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Turkey, Croatia, Switzerland, Serbia, or the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. They must undertake the majority of their activities in the EU Member States and/or in other LLP countries, and must exist as bodies pursuing an aim of general European interest.

The activities of the proposed work programme must contribute to: increasing knowledge and awareness on the European integration process through education and training, and/or the implementation of at least one of the following strategic objectives of ET 2020:
1. making lifelong learning and mobility a reality;
2. improving the quality and efficiency of education and training;
3. promoting equity, social cohesion and active citizenship;
4. enhancing creativity and innovation, including entrepreneurship, at all levels of education and training.

Financing under this call takes the form of operating grants. The total EU budget under this call is €748,400. The maximum operating grant per association for the annual work programme of 12 months will not exceed €100,000 and will not exceed 75% of an association's estimated annual eligible budget.

The deadline for applications is 15 November 2012.
