Call for proposals � DG ENTR No 30-G-ENT-CIP-12-E-N01C051: Programme �Erasmus for young entrepreneurs�

This call aims to help new entrepreneurs from the participating countries enrich their experience, learn and network by spending periods with experienced entrepreneurs in their enterprises in other participating countries. The overall objective of this programme is to enhance the entrepreneurship, internationalisation and competitiveness of potential start-up entrepreneurs and those running newly established micro and small enterprises in the participating countries. The activity targets people intending to set up a business and recently established entrepreneurs.

The call will support actions for organisations that manage the programme locally, by enhancing and facilitating the mobility of new entrepreneurs.

Applicants must be established in one of the following countries: the EU Member States, Liechtenstein, Norway, Croatia, former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Iceland, Montenegro, Turkey), Albania, Israel or Serbia.

They may be public or private entities active in the field of business support, and in particular:
— public entities responsible for, or active in, the fields of economic affairs, enterprise, business support or related issues,
— chambers of commerce and industry, chambers of handicrafts or similar bodies,
— business support organisations, start-up centres and incubators,
— business associations and business support networks,
— public and private entities offering business support services.

The total budget earmarked for the co-financing of projects is €3.1 million. Financial assistance from the Commission will not exceed 90% of the total eligible costs of a single project and no grant will amount to more than €180,000 for partnerships or €150,000 for individual applications.

The maximum duration of projects will be 24 months, with the scheduled start-up date being 1 February 2013.

The deadline for applications is 31 May 2012.
