The Erasmus University Charter provides the general framework for cooperation activities a higher education institution (HEI) may carry out within the Erasmus programme as part of the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP). The Erasmus University Charter must be awarded as a prerequisite for HEI to organise student mobility and teaching and other staff mobility, to carry out Erasmus intensive language courses and intensive programmes, and to apply for multilateral projects, networks, accompanying measures and to organise preparatory visits. The Erasmus University Charter is based on the LLP Decision, which covers the 2007 to 2013 period.
Applicants must be established in one of the following countries: the 27 EU Member States, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Turkey, Croatia.
The deadline for applications is 25 May 2011.
Further information can be found on the LLP and EACEA websites.
