Call for proposals � EACEA/19/09: MEDIA 2007 � Support for the transnational distribution of European films � The �selective� scheme 2010

This Call for Proposals concerns the theatrical (cinema) distribution of non-national feature films. The films must have been majority produced by a producer/producers established in countries participating in the MEDIA programme and made with a significant participation by professionals from those countries. They must be recent works of fiction, animation or documentary more than 60 minutes long and from a different country than the country of distribution. Funding is available to support the distribution (prints and advertising) for recent non-national European films with a maximum production budget of €15 million.
The total budget available is €12.25 million. Grants will not exceed 50% of eligible costs, with a maximum award of €150,000 per film per country.
There are three deadlines: 1 December 2009, 1 April 2010 and 1 July 2010. Guidelines and application forms can be found at the  MEDIA website.
