Consumer protection

A Commission report (COM(2012) 100) on the application of Regulation (EC) 2006/2004, on cooperation between national authorities responsible for the enforcement of consumer protection laws, highlights the main achievements of the Consumer Protection Cooperation (CPC) Network in 2009-2010. It shows that ’shortcomings persist and that the Network has yet to reach its full potential’, with many authorities rarely or never using the CPC cooperation system.
