EIPs

The European Commission has proposed action in three areas considered crucial to growth and jobs: the supply of raw materials, sustainable agriculture, and active and healthy ageing. European Innovation Partnerships (EIPs) have been established on Raw Materials (COM(2012) 82), and on Agricultural Sustainability and Productivity (COM(2012) 79), with a four-year action plan for a pilot Active and Healthy Ageing EIP also endorsed (COM(2012) 83).
